Youth Group – 6th grade to 12th grade
Younger Youth Group – 1st grade to 5th grade
Youth Groups meet the 2nd and 4th Sundays after the late service.
Youth activities are fun but also include:
- Exploring faith
- Serving LWR hunger ministries
- Helping with church outreach events
7th grade and up usually attend
- Synod youth event AFFIRM
- National Youth Gathering
- ALL TN where youth gather from the ELCA, our Synod and conference
Infants through preschool aged children have opportunities for faith formation during our children’s church hour in the nursery.
During the year we have events for children of our congregation, our partner congregations and the children in our neighborhood. In the summer we have Vacation Bible School. In the fall and spring we gather for a Crazy Pancake Breakfast, with music and Bible story. Just before Christmas we open Santa’s Workshop and Recording Studio so that youth that want to give a gift but cannot afford to do so can come and make a gift for their families.
